Jason was born and raised in Reno, Nevada and has always had a strong connection to his community. Jason has been a member of Fellowship Community Church in Lemmon Valley for over 20 years, where the importance of loving God, loving people and serving others has been the building blocks of who he is.

Jason joined the United Sates Army at the age of sixteen (parent’s consent was required and he had to wait till he turned seventeen before leaving for Basic Training). Jason was wounded in combat during his deployment in Iraq on August 1st, 2008. However, he did not let that hinder him from continuing his service and completing his active duty contract. Once he was back in Nevada, he furthered his military career in the State of Nevada Army National Guard as a combat engineer in Fallon, Nevada. Jason was medically retired in 2018 due to injuries incurred in the line of duty. 

Jason is now volunteering in his community, raising his wonderful family and running to be your State of Nevada Assembly representative.
